so one of the things i do as the history club web chair is i post random interesting shit to the club gcal, which basically amounts to me sitting down once every few weeks and going through the wikipedia pages for every day in a month and copying and pasting interesting things into the various calendars
i’m on october 10 right now and one of the listed events was
“1944 – Holocaust: 800 Gypsy children are murdered at Auschwitz concentration camp.”
and the “gypsy” link redirects to “Romani (people)”
and that’s the story of the first time i ever edited a wikipedia page because goddammit
