i understand the point you are getting at in your post about people saying they "feel fat" in a negative way. however, people view "feeling fat" differently, and i think they are allowed to without it being considered fat shaming. i think someone saying "i feel gross because i feel fat" is different than them saying "you are gross because you are fat." quite honestly, i am chubby and i think that i look fabulous. but i don't like "feeling fat" because it doesn't make my body feel good, and my

body can’t do everything that i want it to do because of that. if you are comfortable with your body and what your body can do, that’s great, and i am genuinely happy that you have that level of peace with yourself. no one person’s body is better or worse than any other person’s body, it all depends on what that person wants to do with it.

fatness does not equate with inability to do things

saying I feel gross because I feel fat means that fat = gross

without the fat

there would be no gross

so how is that supposed to be different from telling me that being fat is gross?

if you believe that fat is a negative thing for you to feel

how and why should I take a “you’re beautiful how you are” from you if you don’t genuinely believe it? if you believe that fat is the antagonist, how can you look at me and tell me I’m good how I am?

I don’t think the feeling you’re describing is feeling fat, because like I said, feeling fat is feeling phenomenal. That sounds closer to feeling physically unable to do something, or feeling low confidence, or feeling bloated

but it’s not feeling fat

because feeling the way i feel every day just living in my body

is not a goddamn negative thing
